Please note that for MDT, you need to use a different subscriber exchange because Subscription Rocket does not work on MDT. I have used OIB to get well over 1000 opt-in subscribers, and it is the one you should use on MDT. You will have to create a separate lead generation page for this, but you need to use Subscription Rocket on the other exchanges, as most of them don't allow OIB-type popups.

Basically, reverse marketing is the process of getting free leads by responding to every offer you can possibly find related to your niche market. The idea behind this is that people promote things for which they have an interest. Someone selling marketing information, for example, is almost always interested in seeking out more and more quality information to help them make more sales and get more leads for their offers.


Before getting into the concepts you can use to perform reverse marketing to get leads, please understand that you should avoid spamming. I do not recommend joining a bunch of lists and emaling list owners. This is spam in most cases, and it's not very effective because online list publishers know what spam is, and they certainly don't like it.

The better way to start your reverse marketing campaign can be summed up in just four simple steps:

1. Go to a search engine and enter a keyword or phrase, such as "internet marketing."
2. Visit the thousands of websites that come back in the search results.
3. For each website, write down the physical (snail mail) address and contact name of the person who owns that site.
4. Send out postcards with your offer to those people.
